Applied Behavior Analysis
The core of behavior analysis is teaching.
Behavior analysis is an evidence-based, proven method built on the principles of how learning takes place. Using the principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis, our team can teach the skills each child is missing, to bring about meaningful and positive change in behavior.
What a program includes
Every plan is built for one child.

Comprehensive programming
Tailored to each child across every domain of development.
Progress data
An individualized program with detailed progress tracking.
Where the child is
School-based or in-home sessions delivered by highly trained behavioral health professionals using our specialized materials.
One-to-one and peer group
Instruction that can also include family members through our whole-home, whole-family model.
Family consultation
Analyzing problem behaviors, developing interventions, and teaching parenting skills.
The Shaping Horizons approach
How a program takes shape.
Assess and set goals
Behavior analysts assess a child’s current level and abilities, and work with parents to develop goals.
Build the individual program
A program is created around the child’s strengths and skill deficits.
Teach across every domain
Academics, daily living skills, social skills, developmental skills, and a constant, strong emphasis on communication.
Replace and reinforce
Interventionists work directly with the client to teach new skills, so problematic habits can be replaced by productive behaviors.
Generalize into real life
Skills are taught to increase overall functioning, independence, and the ability to participate in the environments that matter in the child’s life.
Our interventionists arrive fully equipped with everything they need to conduct a session and log data. Sessions can be scheduled anywhere from once a week to every day, depending on the child’s needs.
Services available near you
Teaching happens where the skills are used.
- ABA works because it is applied — teaching happens in the child’s natural environment, where they will be practicing and using their new skills.
- In-home sessions allow for better focus and concentration, faster mastery, and convenient integration with coordinated services.
- Therapy is also delivered in other areas of the child’s life, such as parks, libraries, playgrounds, and schools, to promote generalization.
