It applies to caregivers, prospective clients, staff, contractors, and any visitor to our website.

This Privacy Policy does not govern Protected Health Information (PHI) used in providing clinical ABA services. PHI is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Standard SMS is not a fully secure channel; do not send sensitive medical information by SMS.

Information We Collect Through the Website

Through shapinghorizons.com, we collect the following:

Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.

Automatically-collected information. Our website is hosted on Wix, which uses cookies and similar technologies to record standard analytics information including IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages visited, and approximate location. This information is used for website operation, performance, and analytics.

We do not collect through the website: phone numbers, mailing addresses, payment information, account credentials, government identifiers, or health information.

Information We Collect Outside the Website

When a caregiver formally enrolls a client with our practice, or when staff and contractors are onboarded, we collect names and contact information including a mobile phone number. This collection happens through our intake and onboarding processes, not through the website.

When you provide your mobile phone number to Shaping Horizons in connection with our services or your work with us, you may receive SMS text messages from us as part of our scheduling, clinical-coordination, and operational-coordination program.

Description. We use SMS to communicate with caregivers and authorized contacts about scheduling, session changes, and clinical coordination, and with our staff and contractors about work assignments and operational matters. We do not use SMS for marketing or promotional messages.

Opt-in. We send SMS only to recipients who have provided their mobile number for this purpose during intake or onboarding and who have agreed to receive SMS messages.

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on operational needs and is typically between 2 and 10 messages per recipient per week.

Costs. Standard message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier.

Help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at support@shapinghorizons.com or (954) 960-4310, for help.

Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out. We will send one final confirmation SMS, after which we will not send further messages unless you re-opt-in.

No Sale or Disclosure of Mobile Information

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and SMS-related information are shared only with subcontractors who help us operate our services (for example, our SMS service provider), under contracts that restrict their use of such information.

Service providers. Vendors that help us operate our practice — for example, our website host (Wix), our practice-management platform (Office Puzzle), and our SMS service provider — receive only the information they need to provide their service to us, under contracts that restrict their use.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, or to protect the safety of our clients, staff, or others.

Never sold. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Our therapy services are delivered to children, but the information collected through this website and through our SMS program is provided by adult caregivers, contacts, staff, and contractors — not by children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website or SMS program. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided information to us through these channels, we will delete it.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information in our custody. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we have collected from you, by emailing support@shapinghorizons.com .

Opt out of our SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Decline cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may limit website functionality.
